I am a one-man team with 13 years of chiropractic practice experience. For 9 years I have worked with Chinese acupuncturists in San Mateo. Previous to that, I worked a year for an orthopedic surgeon in San Francisco, heading up the rehabilitation and radiology departments. I graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1992. Prior to that I earned a bachelors degree from San Jose State University in marine biology.
I come from a scientific and endurance sports background. My approach is well grounded in real science with a holistic emphasis on muscle balancing and joint motion restoration. I have experience with many over-use injuries related to swimming, running and cycling, as well as computer mousing and keyboarding. I don't necessarily believe that chiropractic is the cure-all for all people, but it's conservative, non-invasive, holistic and natural approach definitely deserves the first shot at dealing with a particular musculoskeletal problem or general health maintenance.
I am the only person that you have to deal with, as I wear all the hats in this practice. My patients appreciate my no-nonsense and informative approach when dealing with thier health issues. I don't offer any free gimmicks or push pre-pay package deal treatment plans. Instead, I provide a unique combination of hands-on healthcare treatment that combines the benefits and value of chiropractic and soft tissue work, all in one visit.
